Le Meridien Noumea Review
The Le Meridien in Noumea is located on Anse Veta Beach. It’s a nice secluded area around 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of town.
The location is great for peace and quiet, but close enough that a cab into the city doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
I stayed at the Le Meridien Noumea for five nights when enjoying New Caledonia with my husband and young kids. We don’t usually stay in the one place this long when traveling. However, this was an attempt to slow down and just relax. The Le Meridien was great for this!
Rooms
We stayed in a ”superior” room and whilst it didn’t wow me; it was a decent, clean, and modern room. I have nothing to complain about with this room and can’t really ask for much more.
Meals
As far as breakfast buffets go, this one was really decent with lots of healthy options. The staff didn’t seem to mind when my toddler spilled orange juice everywhere, or decided that apple skins weren’t for him. Like most New Caledonians, they seemed to enjoy young children.
The room service meals that we ordered were all good. Our little boy has food aversions, so we didn’t order anything too fancy (spaghetti bolognaise, pumpkin soup etc.) I was more than a little relieved when it arrived quickly and passed the toddler taste test.
Other Facilities
This resort offers everything you need and a bit more!
Outdoors offer a beachfront, huge pool, sun loungers and gardens. There are bikes available, a giant chess set and water activities such as snorkelling, canoeing, windsurfing etc.
WiFi is free and available in all areas.
Wellness facilities include spa, hot tub, massage, spa and wellness centre, fitness centre and sauna.
Reception offers a concierge service, tour desk, currency exchange and is open 24-hours.
Would I Recommend the Le Meridien Noumea to Other Families
I would definitely recommend the Le Meridien Noumea resort to other families. However, if you’re kids are a little older you might like to consider upgrading to a family room.

Accommodation
On the Isle of Pines, we loved the Oure Tera Beach Resort. It was just in a beautiful location with great service.
In Noumea, we loved the Le Méridien Nouméa Resort & Spa. It’s a little out of town but that’s why we loved it. The beach out front was perfectly uncrowded.
