Quest Serviced Apartments in Ipswich, Queensland
”Mum, can’t we just stay here another night. I love this hotel!” miss five pleaded, as she jumped from her bed to her brother’s.
I don’t blame her. We don’t have air-conditioning at home and the WiFi hasn’t dropped out here once.
”Um … sorry darling, I’d love to but we’ve already made other plans.”
”Aaaawwww!” they both whined in unison.
I actually would have loved to stay longer but time often isn’t on anyone’s side when it comes to family getaways. I didn’t have the heart to tell them we would actually be roughing it in a tent tonight and decided to spring that one on them later.
Quest Ipswich Apartments are located only 1km from the Ipswich CBD and 1.5 km from the fabulous Queens Park, which features an amazing FREE nature centre, a large playground and beautiful Japanese gardens.
We were spending a week Officially Testing the Best Things to do in Ipswich and were having the BEST time. I’m really not surprised they didn’t want to leave!
Accommodation
We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment which turned out to be a perfect size for families. The master bedroom had a Queen sized bed and the kids room had two singles. Both had reverse cycle air-conditioners.
Three bedroom apartments are also available for larger families as well as 1 bedroom apartments and smaller suites. .
The living area and kitchen is separate to the bedrooms so staying at the Quest Apartments in Ipswich is just as comfortable as home, but better … because they’re serviced. This means that when you head out for the day to do fun stuff, someone sneaks into your apartment and tidies it up!
The bathroom was spacious with a shower/bath combo as well as a washing machine and dryer.
The kitchen was fully equipped, modern and large enough to prepare meals for a family.
Location
Quest Ipswich Apartments are conveniently located only 1km from the Ipswich CBD and 1.5km from Queens Park, which younger kids will love. It’s a convenient base to explore Ipswich with onsite parking.
The Fun Stuff
There is free WiFi, and an outdoor pool and BBQ area which was quite nice. Apparently there is access to an off-site gymnasium … which I never think about when on holidays.
The living room had a flat-screen screen TV with access to a small balcony and the kids room also had a TV mounted on the wall.
Food and Drink
Quest Apartments Ipswich have fully equipped kitchens so self-catering to keep costs down is no problem at all.
There are restaurants and grocery stores within a short driving distance and of course, Ipswich is large enough a city that you can get food delivered straight to the apartment.
Explore
There is tonnes to do in Ipswich for families. Check out our Ipswich page for activities and inspiration! We loved Queens Park and Seraphim Escape Rooms in Ipswich City and loved all the fun things to do around Marburg, such as a picnic in a bell tent and a visit to the Ewe-Nique Hobby Farm.
The Verdict
The Quest Apartments in Ipswich is very family friendly and the two bedroom apartment in particular had heaps of room. I found our stay here really easy as the apartment had everything I needed. Having a kitchen makes a big difference to keeping everyone happy when travelling with kids!
We would definitely stay here again!
