Dinosaur Valley has returned to Scenic World in the Blue Mountains for another exciting season, and this year, there’s something completely new to discover. The much-loved event has introduced a world-first attraction – the Dino Aquarium – giving visitors the chance to step into a prehistoric world where ancient marine reptiles ruled the seas.
Running daily until 26 January 2026, Dinosaur Valley Scenic World continues to capture imaginations with its incredible life-sized dinosaurs and interactive experiences designed for all ages.
A prehistoric adventure like no other
The Dino Aquarium is the star of this year’s event. Inside this immersive experience, families can journey through an underwater world filled with giant marine reptiles, such as Kronosaurus and Plesiosaurus. It’s a first-of-its-kind feature that makes Dinosaur Valley Scenic World unlike any other dinosaur attraction in Australia.
Kids can also join the fun through the new Dinosaur Valley Passport, which sends them on a global adventure to learn where different dinosaur species once lived. Along the way, they can collect stamps and earn their Junior Ranger certification – a fun way to combine exploration and learning.
There are more dinosaurs than ever before, with over 60 life-sized models and 33 different species across both land and sea. Expect to see favourites like T-Rex, Velociraptors, Spinosaurus and Stegosaurus alongside the new marine giants.

Returning favourites
This season also sees the return of some crowd favourites. Children will once again be able to meet the Dino Rangers, take part in interactive experiences, and learn fascinating facts from Super Dino Fan Andy Day, whose audio and video clips are hidden along the trail. The ever-popular Junior Ranger Kits are back too, making the perfect take-home souvenir for any budding palaeontologist.
And of course, no family day out would be complete without a stop at the Dino Diner, where visitors can enjoy hearty meals after a day of exploring.
Make a day of It
Dinosaur Valley Scenic World tickets include access to all the Scenic World attractions, meaning visitors can make a full day of it. Ride the world’s steepest railway through the ancient rainforest, soar across the Jamison Valley on the Scenic Skyway, and glide past sandstone cliffs on the Cableway – all while surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Blue Mountains.
Located just 90 minutes from Sydney, Scenic World is an amazing family holiday destination packed with nature, adventure and imagination.
