All kids visiting the SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast aquarium these September school holidays will receive a worksheet to help them discover fascinating facts about the Little Blue Penguins and the wonderful team who care for them.

At the end of their journey, children can hand in their completed worksheet to receive a Junior Penguin Keeper certificate!

The free Junior Penguin Keeper activities aim to encourage kids to learn more about these fascinating flightless birds, which are one of the most popular creatures at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast.

Waddle into the World of the Little Blue Penguins at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast

Discover SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast’s only colony of Little Blue Penguins as they march, dive, swim & play. Watch their antics from an above-ground observation deck to an underwater vantage point for a fascinating insight into the life of a cute little penguin.

Head to the under water observation deck to watch the little blue penguins swim around and play!

Level Up Their Experience With a Penguin Encounter and Showbag!

Level-up their day at the aquarium by booking into the Penguin Encounter! This additional experience is for ages 5+ and allows kids to step inside the penguins’ habitat to have a go at feeding the cheeky penguins and go on a behind the scenes tour.

Families can also wander through the 80-metre-long Ocean Tunnel to see sharks and rays swim overhead and can watch the playful seals at Seal Island. Discover thousands of tropical fish throughout the aquarium as well as exotic looking sea dragons and mesmerizing sea jellies.

SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Booking Information

During the Queensland school holidays, SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast will be open seven days per week from 9am – 5pm (last entry 4pm).

To assist with keeping Covid-19 safe, all visitors must pre-book their tickets online in advance, where they can save up to 20%. This includes pre-paying and selecting the date and timeslot of your visit.

Annual Pass members must pre-book their timeslot here. They have extended Annual Passes to ensure you can still enjoy an entire year of visiting the aquarium.

Those with pre-purchased open-dated tickets and third-party tickets must pre-book here.
