We stayed in a Luxury Two Queen Suite Sphere View room and absolutely loved the room, from the large bathroom to the extra space to spread out through to the incredible views of the Sphere. This particular room sleeps four people across two queen-sized beds.

The Venetian provides a range of activities to keep all ages entertained. While the resort doesn’t have a dedicated kids’ club, the multiple pool areas offer plenty of fun, with cabanas available for families to enjoy a day in the sun as well as a kid-friendly splash area. The on-site Gondola rides at The Venetian in Las Vegas are a unique experience that both kids and adults will love.

Staff friendliness and helpfulness:

The staff at The Venetian are known for their friendliness and attentiveness to families, and I found this to be true when we stayed here. From check-in to check-out, the service is top-notch, with staff going out of their way to accommodate special requests and ensure that families have everything they need for a comfortable stay.

Value for money at the Venetian in Las Vegas

Pricing:

The Venetian is a luxury resort, and while it is on the pricier side of Las Vegas, it’s not one of those resorts that you regret splurging on the minute you walk in the door. In fact, we breathed a sigh of relief within the first couple of minutes after realising that it was indeed worth the money, which is evident in the quality of the accommodations and amenities.

Overall experience of The Venetian in Las Vegas

Positives:

The Venetian offers a luxurious yet family-friendly environment with spacious rooms, a central location, and a wide range of amenities. The proximity to attractions and the on-site activities make it a convenient and enjoyable choice for families. If you want views of the Sphere, you will need to specify this when booking. However, if you do get one, you won’t be disappointed.

Negatives:

The primary downside to The Venetian in Las Vegas is the lack of a dedicated kids’ club, which might be a drawback for families looking for structured children’s activities or those parents hoping to go out to dinner alone for a few hours. Additionally, the resort’s size can be overwhelming, especially for younger children with tired legs.

Conclusion

Recommendation:

The Venetian is an excellent choice for families looking for a blend of luxury and convenience in Las Vegas. It’s particularly well-suited for families with older children who can appreciate the spacious accommodations and the array of activities on offer. Families seeking a memorable stay in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip will find The Venetian to be a top contender.

One of our family’s favourite moments was sitting in bed with the curtains wide open and simply watching The Sphere and its ever-changing display. Both the kids and I were captivated by the experience, and it was nice to sit together, snuggle up and enjoy the ‘show’ before falling asleep.
