Want to win a family holiday to the Outback Festival this year? You’re in luck!
The Outback Festival is giving away an amazing family holiday prize to this year’s festival in Winton, QLD. Held from the 21st to the 25th of September, 2021, these dates fall conveniently in the school holidays. As a really cool bonus, they’re also throwing in family passes to two of Winton’s iconic attractions, the Australian Age of Dinosaurs and the Waltzing Matilda Centre.
This year’s events look like a ton of fun and we can’t wait for it … especially the Quilton Australian Dunny Derby! Teams of five will race their jockey, who sits on a thunderbox in a makeshift chariot of sorts, in an attempt to cross the finish line first and therefore claim the golden porcelain bowl.
Young ones will love the Teddy Bear Picnic, Little Swaggies, and many more fun activities for kids. Meanwhile, family members of all ages can enjoy quirky events, warm Outback hospitality, and live entertainment. The entertainment lineup is fantastic, including James Blundell and Kirsty Lee Akers.
The Family Outback Festival Holiday Prize includes:

- Five nights accommodation at Club Paterson Tent City includes comfortable safari-style tent. The tent will be set up thus all you need to do is move in and unpack! Camp beds will be already made up with quality linen.
- The Outback Festival Concert Series Family Pass includes the Tuesday opening concert, Wednesday Morning Melodie, and Live Music Concert. Not to mention the unmissable Friday Dunny Derby!
- The Australian Age of Dinosaurs Ultimate Dinosaur Tour Family Pass includes a guided tour of the Collection Room, Fossil Preparation Laboratory, self-guided walk of Dinosaur Canyon and The March of the Titanosaurs exhbition.
- The Waltzing Matilda Family Pass includes access to interactive display, exhbition space and art gallery, and access to Qantilda Museum.
